Shipping timeline
Second Act Arts orders are processed and shipped within an estimated 3 to 5 business days. We aim to get it to you as quickly as possible. Having said that, supply chain issues or delays on our shipping partners behalf may cause delays with your order. Should this occur, we apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Shipping Charges
Currently, we are only shipping within Canada. Please stay tuned as we grow for international offerings. All domestic orders are shipped via Canada Post and shipping charges are calculated at the time of checkout.
Shipping charges are calculated based upon the number of items in your cart. The charge to ship one item within Canada is $2.50 Canadian. Shipping for each additional item purchased is $1.00 Canadian.
HST
We are a small business and not yet registered for HST (harmonized sales tax), so you won’t see this added at time of checkout (for now).
Cancellations & Returns
Cancellations must be made within 24 hours prior to the order being shipped. Returns are only accepted in cases of damaged or incorrectly shipped products.

SecondActArts is the name of my creative business, but many people naturally search for SecondActArt.com. That domain recently became available so I grabbed it and set it to redirect here - so whether you type “art” or “arts”, you will always end up in the right place. Thanks for being here!
Do you do pet portraits?
Yes and no! I don’t typically take on animal portraits as formal commissions. I tend to paint them for charitable causes or as gifts for family and friends - especially when there is a playful or whimsical element involved (think bow ties, party hats, or quirky expressions). It’s important to me that painting remains joyful and pressure free, and I’ve found that traditional commission work can sometimes take away from that. So I only say yes when it feels fun, lighthearted, or personally meaningful.
